This trefoil brooch is a replica modeled after artifacts discovered in the famous Viking trading center – Birka (Sweden). The popularity of this design is confirmed by numerous finds, including those in graves marked with the numbers: 642, 517, 968, 843A, 860A.


 

Material and Craftsmanship 

The brooch is made of brass. It is a faithful reproduction of the historical form. The back features all the necessary fastenings and a pin, allowing for secure attachment to clothing.

Historical Significance

Trefoil brooches were a popular element of Viking attire, particularly in the 10th century.
